Dissertation note: Undergradute Thesis Summary: The hospitality industry has been growing and progressing rapidly over the past few decades, particularly the hotel/lodging industry. Thus, it is imperative to keep on devising new lodging concepts and innovate on previous ideas to create business opportunities and pave the way for better hotel industry. In action, the researchers constructed a quantitative study and gathered data through the means of a survey tool to determine the preferred amenities and attractiveness factors customers look for in a hotel. A total of 100 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data obtained from the respondents were analyzed using weighted mean and student's t-test for independent samples. After careful analysis, it was found that respondents prefer attractiveness factors over amenities and that there is no significant difference between the choices of the respondents when grouped according to gender. In conclusion, proposed lodging concepts should revolve around the hotel's attractiveness factors based on the study results.
