Undergraduate Thesis.
This study aim to determined the challenges encountered by the Radiologicic in selected Hospitals in Paranaque City. The results of the survey will serve as guidelines on instituti training for radiologic technologists. The researchers used a survey type of questionnaire. Firstly, evaluate the demographic profile in order to better understand and analyze them. Secondly, contains question about the level of effectiveness among radiologic technologist in handling pediatric patients in terms of skills,communication and healthcare needs. Lastly, contains question about the challenges encountered by the Radiologic Technologist in handling a pediatric patients in medical imaging in terms of imaging procedures, technical factors and patient care. The study used frequency, percentile and mean in analyzing and treating the gathered data. It revealed that the majority of the age of the respondents is on the range of 21-30 and are most consist of male. The researchers concluded that the level of effectiveness in handling a pediatric patients in terms of skills, communication and healthcare needs is almost very effective based on the result. Moreover, the study shows that the radiologic technologists is very effective in dealing with the challenges that they encounter in handling pediatric patients in terms of imaging procedure, technical factors, and patient care. Based on the result of the research study it shows that there is no significant difference between respondents{92} gender and respondents{92} type of hospital affiliation to the challenges encountered by the respondents, and between respondents{92} age and respondents{92} length of experience to the challenges encountered by the respondents in terms of imaging procedures.
