520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This study aimed to find out the conflicts on the three fold roles of the 3" year student-mothers with on-duty training in the College of Nursing of Olivarez College. Specifically, it sought to determine the profile of the respondents in terms of age of the respondent, number of children and ages of children, and the role conflicts among them that affect their giving of care to patients and family. Thirty (30) respondents were all enrolled in the first semester of school year 2006-2007. The findings of the study disclosed that almost all of the respondents were already in the mature age bracket but almost, also, sometimes experienced difficulty in handling their multiple roles. Some of the respondents opted not to reveal their names and addresses because they wanted privacy for some personal reasons. Attenuating factors such as family support and child-care were found helpful in the student-mother in performing her three-fold roles. From these findings, it could be concluded that since most of the student-mothers were already in the mature age bracket, they were able to handle their multiple roles accordingly without much difficulties that would affect them in giving care to patients and family.
