| Summary, etc. | The study intended to assess the disciplinary powers of the Philippine Army Commanding Officer's imposition of punishments to the Reserve Force under Article 105, also known as the Authority of the Commanding Officer. The output of the study aims to provide an insightful assessment, perspective, and the ability to evaluate, measure, and improve policies and existing regulations that affect the performance of duty of the Reserve Force. To gather data and purposefully produced information through the conduct of survey questions with five (5) Commissioned Reservist Officers and 130 Enlisted Reservists, the researcher utilized the quantitative descriptive correlational method through the present existing condition of disciplinary imposition in the Ready Reserve Force Organization, specifically the Alpha Company of the 13011 RRIBn. The researcher utilized the descriptive method, which, according to Zulueta (2010), is designed to gather information about present or existing conditions. It is helpful to express the cause or phenomenon that directly affects the respondent's perspective. This method was considered the rationale for the present study since it was conclusive due to its quantitative nature and well- thought-out, structured design. Consequently, the data to be gathered can be deduced statistically from a population (Shields et al., 2013). The authors believe that there is a need to revisit and redirect some policies and specific guidelines on imposing sanctions. Through this, three proposed policies are providing the Commanders to enhance the article 105 in the Reserve Force to provide more discipline Reservists. This study contributes to the Reserve Command down line to the Ready Reserve Unit Commander for the improvements of policy by implementation of the authority of the Commander to imposed disciplinary sanction to the member of the Reserve Force. |
