| Summary, etc. | This study assessed the efficacy of the Review Division in the Paranaque City Treasurer's Office and proposed revenue enhancement strategies. Data was gathered from 50 respondents, including top management and office employees, using a descriptive research approach and correlational methodology. Findings indicate a diverse demographic profile among respondents and a consensus on the Review Division's efficiency across various functions despite significant challenges. The challenges encountered by the respondents in the Review Division are "Very Serious," which encompass limited resources, technological limitations, changing regulatory environments, and political interference. Communication challenges, fraud risks, emergency response, and documentation issues further complicate operations. To address these challenges, recommendations include targeted communication strategies, feedback mechanisms for public auctions and tax credits, standardized collection practices. robust revenue monitoring, and stakeholder engagement in budget proposals. Initiatives such as continuous education programs, technology investments, internal audits, and outsourcing opportunities are proposed to enhance efficiency. Additionally, strategies for accurate financial record-keeping, integration of financial technologies, and adaptation to advancements are suggested. These recommendations aim to improve staff capacity, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with regulations. The study suggests further research in similar contexts to deepen understanding and address efficacy issues in other LGUS. Overall, this study provides insights and recommendations to enhance the Review Division's effectiveness in the Paranaque City Treasurer's Office and potentially other local government units. |
