520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The LPG Industry Regulation Act is designed to control the LPG industry in the Philippines, guarantee the safety and quality of LPG products, promote compliance with standards and requirements, and enforce penalties for violations to safeguard the interests of end-consumers and the general public. This study examined respondents awareness, implementation, and compliance with RAI1592, with a particular emphasis on the impact of demographics. The results show limited variation in implementation and compliance (mean > 3.5). The length of business operation and average monthly income substantially impacted awareness and compliance, while gender did not. Comparing businesses with fewer than a year of operation to those with more, the former showed greater awareness. Comparatively speaking, companies with higher monthly incomes demonstrated greater awareness than those with lesser incomes. The study suggests an assessment instrument that leads to accreditation to address the issues found.
