| Summary, etc. | An attendance monitoring system (AttMoSys) is a system developed to address the challenges in monitoring student attendance at the College of Corporate Management Education in Olivarez College Paranaque. The study utilized a quantitative research approach with a sample of professors and Students as respondents. The Biometrics- based AttMoSys was utilized to collect attendance data, which was evaluated for accuracy, reliability, and usefulness. A questionnaire gathered demographic information, options on the attendance tracking system and experience with conventional attendance monitoring techniques. The studys results demonstrated the systems efficiency and usefulness in monitoring attendance and its potential to save valuable class time. The attMoSys is a centralized location that receives the unique fingerprint biometrics of instructors and students, providing an intuitive way to record attendance and maintain the systems integrity. The Studys findings highlighted the need for biometric attendance tracking technologies in managing attendance in school and businesses, emphasizing their advantages over traditional attendance monitoring methods. This research contributes to developing technology- driven solutions in education and provides a valuable framework for future studies in attendance management systems. Overall, the AttMoSys has the potential to revolutionize attendance monitoring , providing a more efficient and reliable way to track attendance while promoting accountability and integrity. |
