| Summary, etc. | Crime rates are increasing for quite a bit these days and the safety of everyone is on hand especially for children who are more vulnerable to kidnapping incidents. However, there are little to no security measure in order for vulnerable children to be picked up safely especially with entrusted relatives. This study focuses on developing an RFID system with built in SMS feature that will help in giving information to parents that their children have been picked up. A safety feature such as an RFID system has many uses in order to maintain a facility{92}s security, orderliness and uses for different methods of usage such as attendance monitoring and etc. The study examines how the collaborations of RFID, SMS and technology work together to improve safety features along the Integrated Basic Education of Olivarez College through a mixed-method data collection involving the safety features, System design and user experience on 30 respondents. The study evaluates the effectiveness of the RFID system on parents{92} outlook on a different approach on security measures for children that will be picked up by a different person or relative. Findings highlight the satisfaction of the parents on the system at hand and increased awareness on situational problems that involves children in modern time. The study{92}s contribution lies in its insights into the potential of increased security feature for students and create modern solutions for upcoming obstacles that may or will affect the children of the future. |
