| Summary, etc. | Festivals are an integral part of human culture, serving as vibrant celebrations of art, music, food, and community. In recent times, the study of festivals has gained significant attention as researchers delve into their impact on society, economy, and cultural identity. The output of the study aims to investigate the impact of festivals in Barangay Sto NinÌo, ParanÌaque, on community unity, intrapersonal relationships, and harmony. By exploring how festivals achieve these outcomes, it seeks to understand their societal implications as agents for cross-cultural communication and peaceful coexistence. The research delves into the participation patterns, perceptions, and experiences of festival attendees and tourists, as well as the strategies employed by organizers to promote inclusivity, to enhance community cultural conservation through the unifying power of festivals. The researchers utilized non-probabilistic purposive sampling, also referred to as arbitrary, selective, or subjective sampling. Furthermore, the researcher utilizes a quantitative descriptive research design to demonstrate the descriptive type of research. By utilizing these methods and procedures, the study aims to provide a comprehensive view of festival impacts and outcomes, shedding light on the mechanisms through which festivals contribute to community unity and social connectedness. The study revealed that participants mainly fell within the 18-25 age group, with a higher proportion of female attendees at the Karakol Festival. Attendees reported strong satisfaction levels with festival experiences, particularly in terms of group cohesion, cultural events, and social well-being. Findings also indicated that age groups 46-55 and 56 and above exhibited higher satisfaction levels compared to younger age groups. The study recommended a Cultural Conservation Program (CCP) based on the identified concerns and insights gathered from this research. |
