Summary, etc. The world has changed, and the desire for alternative work arrangements and more workplace automation has grown, particularly after the novel coronavirus disease (Covid 19) pandemic. We are in the age of the new normal, which encompasses everything from face-to-face classes to online learning. The goal of this study is to learn about the productivity and obstacles faced by academic professionals working remotely from home during the Covid 19 pandemic, as well as to discover if there is a significant difference in productivity and challenges faced by them when grouped by profile. The researchers gathered 200 participants from public and private schools at various levels of education. The researchers used a validated 30-item self-administered questionnaire to collect data for this quantitative descriptive study. Data analysis involved percentage for demographic profile variables, weighted means of the productivity and challenges, while analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t-test for independent means was calculated to determine the productivity and challenges of the academic professionals in terms of their demographic profile. Results disclosed that the new normal setting seemed to not affect educators' productivity in providing their students with the quality education they need based on the findings of the study and the results acquired. Furthermore, the researchers encourage educators and the institutions wherein they perform to openly discuss and take the time in finding responses to the factors that they believe are implicating them.
