| Summary, etc. | This qualitative study explores how Communication Arts students of Olivarez College utilized Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their academic workloads. Using structured interviews with eight selected participants, the researchers gathered comprehensive insight into students{92} experiences with AI tools in tasks such as content generation, idea development,grammar checking, and time management. The findings revealed that AI significantly contributes to academic efficiency, especially during periods of high workload or limited time. However students also emphasized the importance of human creativity and authenticity,highlighting a conscious to avoid over-reliance on AI. The analysis led to the emergence of five core themes:(1) AI as an Academic Efficiency Tool,(2) Critical Engagement and Verification of AI outputs, (3) AI as a Catalyst for learning and Conceptual Understanding, (4) Establishing Responsible and Ethical AI Usage Habits, and (5) Balancing Efficiency with Authentic Human Effort and Connection. These themes reflect a nuanced understanding setting. Overall the study shed light on how students are actively navigating the digital landscape, balancing innovation with integrity in their academic pursuits. |
