Summary, etc. This study highlights the critical role of leadership in enhancing the effectiveness of beat patrol operations at the Parañaque Central Police Station. Using a quantitative research design, the study involved 196 respondents, consisting of 166 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs) and 30 Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs). The research aimed to assess the perceived importance of effective leadership in three key areas: crime prevention, peace and order, and police-community relations, with the goal of supporting operational improvements in police leadership. Findings revealed that both PCOs and PNCOs consider leadership to be {93}VeryImportant{94} in all three areas. In terms of crime prevention, leadership was seen as essential in ensuring officers are well-trained and equipped to respond effectively to emergencies, reflected in the highest mean score of 3.95. For peace and order, leadership that promotes accountability, transparency, and proactive community engagement also scored highly, with a mean of 3.79. In the area of police-community relations, respondents agreed that strong leadership helps build partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders, earning a mean score of 3.86. These results emphasize that both ranks acknowledge the significance of effective leadership in guiding officers, promoting safety, and building public trust. The study suggests that investing in leadership development within police ranks can lead to better operational performance, stronger community ties, and a more proactive approach to addressing crime and social issues. Ultimately, the findings provide valuable insights for shaping future leadership strategies and training programs within the police force.
