Summary, etc. Fire safety is a persistent concern in educational institutions, particularly in densely populated countries like the Philippines, where informal settlements and outdated infrastructure increase the likelihood of fire-related incidents. This study focused on Olivarez College and examined the critical yet often overlooked role of security personnel as first responders during fire emergencies. It aimed to evaluate their involvement in fire drills, training, and facility monitoring as key components of fire safety preparedness. Utilizing a descriptive research design, data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to students, employees, and parents. The findings showed a strong consensus among all respondents groups on the importance of security personnel in fire preparedness efforts, particularly in the areas of drills, training, and monitoring of facilities. While there were no significant differences in assessments regarding fire drills and facility monitoring, a notable difference was found in responses concerning training. Additionally, respondents rated the challenges in implementing fire safety measures as {93}Serious{94}, indicating significant issues that need to be addressed. The study highlights the indispensable role of security personnel in promoting a culture of safety within educational institutions and recommends enhancing their training and encouraging greater involvement from all stakeholders to improve the overall standard and readiness of fire safety systems in schools.
