520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. This study explores the health challenges and lived experiences of individuals living with albinism, focusing on their physical, emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Albinism is a genetic disorder characterized by a lack of melanin that increases a person's risk of developing skin cancer, eyesight problems, and social stigma (Brocco, 2016). Six respondents who were 60 years of age or younger participated in in-depth interviews using a qualitative phenomenological approach to gain a better understanding of their everyday challenges, access to healthcare, and coping mechanisms. The outcomes indicated that social stigma, basic healthcare gaps, and adaptive self-management are common themes. These results emphasize the necessity of inclusive policies and community support. According to Brocco (2016), the following topics are covered in the abstract: (1) The key aspects of the literature review include the clinical and psychosocial effects of albinism, particularly in marginalized communities. (2) The issue being studied focuses on the impact on albinism on healthcare accessibility and quality of life. (3) The hypothesis states that biological and social factors make life more difficult for people with albinism. (4) Methods involve semi-structured interviews purposely sampled respondents to record diverse experiences. (5) Results indicate that systemic barriers still exist, but that some difficulties are lessened by adaptive strategies and peer support. (6) Implications emphasize public education and policy reforms to reduce stigma and improve care.
