Summary, etc. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a severe acute respiratory illness that was causing a pandemic during 2020. Because of the Coronavirus 2019 pandemic, there are many changes in the nurse's work environment. The researchers wanted to explore the psychological experiences of nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study will investigate their experience to identify what are the coping strategies they are practicing. This qualitative study made use of the descriptive phenomenological method of research. The participants were recruited using convenience sampling between April 25 and May 4, 2021. The interview guide questions were researcher-made, and the interview was conducted via an online platform All the data were analyzed by researchers. Based on the data collected. The nurses experienced work environment challenges and adjustments in the current pandemic situation, such as greater responsibility, wearing personal protective equipment, and understaffing of nurses. These factors resulted in exhaustion and fear to the nurses, not just for their safety but most especially for the safety of their families. The nurses have different coping strategies based on their experience, personality, lifestyle, and beliefs. It is very important to learn these coping strategies in order for the nurses to cope up with their struggles due to the pandemic.
