Summary, etc. The English language is the medium tool of instruction in specific programs such as medicine, law, and Engineering. However, in the Philippine tertiary education system, both teachers and students face a lot of problems because they find it difficult to achieve the goal of enhancing student{92} language learning. After all, the curriculum guide, as understood by the majority of the public teachers, does not completely address the needs of learners. This study collected and analyzed the language teaching and learning strategies of 50 Grade 10 public English teachers within the Parañaque are about their view on the K-12 English curriculum guiding principles, their perception of the effectiveness of the K-12 English curriculum design, level of satisfaction in the components of the K-12 English curriculum design, their perception on the alignment of language and literary domains, the learner{92}s performance along with intended skills. Data on the study were presented and analyzed through quantitative descriptive method-weighted mean, while correlation and relationship between the effectiveness of the K-2 English curriculum and the learning performance of the student. There is a moderate positive correlation between effectiveness and learning performance of students which means there is a tendency for learning performance of students to improve when the K-12 English curriculum is effective and vice versa.
