Summary, etc. This study was intended to determine the struggles and coping mechanism of the parents of Aguado Elementary School in dealing with their children's modules given by the Department of Education. There were a total of 200 selected respondents who answered the personal information sheet for the data collection of the demographic profile and the survey form in gathering their thoughts and experiences in the modular learning set up of the Department of Education. From the number of 200 respondents, only 10 of them were selected randomly to proceed to the last part of the data gathering procedure which is the semi-structured interview. These are the basis of the researcher to come up with a parent orientation program that would help the parents ease their stress during the new normal education set up while the country is still in pandemic. This study utilized both quantitative and qualitative method of research. Results showed that respondents were mostly minimum wage earner and has a status of being a high school graduate. Based on the analyzed results of the data gathered, the researcher parent orientation program is based from the analyzed results of the study and from the theories and concepts integrated in the study. The said program would be very helpful to the parents of the children who will be enrolled in a distance learning, specifically the modular learning set up. The said proposed program would serve as their seminar, workshop, open-forum, and a platform for the parents in case there is a need to implement again this kind of learning set up, since as we all know they are the ones to would be acting as their children's teachers and instructor, that is why it is very essential that they have prior knowledge and wise time management to be able to take the roles and responsibilities of the teachers in this kind of educational set up. the struggles they encountered in dealing with their children's learning situation, would possibly lessen because if they have sufficient knowledge on how to cope up with this responsibility more wisely and more confidently.
