Summary, etc. The researchers, third year Bachelor of Science in Nursing students from Olivarez College, decided to work on this study with expectations and hopes that the teenage mothers of Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City will become aware on the importance of practicing breastfeeding. In order to obtain the data needed for the study, the researchers utilized a self-made questionnaire consisting of three parts. Part I had five items to extract the profile of the respondents. Part II was divided into three categories: Before, During, and After Breastfeeding Practices. Twenty items under Part II Before Breastfeeding Practices revealed how the respondents prepared themselves before engaging in breastfeeding. The 20-item Part II During Breastfeeding Practices determined how the teenage mothers performed the breastfeeding practices. Part II After Breastfeeding Practices, composed of 20 items, provided data on the practices that the teenage mothers do after they initiated breastfeeding. Lastly, the 15-item Part III provided the level of knowledge and awareness, attitudes, and beliefs of the teenage mothers about breastfeeding. The researchers sought for the validation and approval of the questionnaires from three experts. In this study, the researchers wanted to determine the relationship of breastfeeding practices of the teenage mothers towards their demographic profile. Therefore, the researchers conclude that there is a relationship between breastfeeding practices and the profile of the teenage mothers in terms of their age, educational attainment, family income, and number of children. Most of the teenage mothers aged 17 to 18 years old and are graduates or undergraduates of high school level experienced difficulty to support the needs of their own family, and most especially, that of their babies. The researchers recommended that the respondents take alternatives suited to their profile to satisfy their daily needs.
