Summary, etc. This study sought to identify the Level of Knowledge on Contraception among Tertiary Students in Olivarez College. The researchers used a descriptive design as a research method. The target population was 50 Tertiary students in Olivarez College 2nd semester of SY 2012-2013. The main purpose of this study is to find out the level of knowledge between the Nursing and Non-nursing students regarding the Natural and Artificial method of Contraception. This study utilized a quantitative type of questionnaire which has been used as the main tool in gathering the necessary data, 11 out of 20 questions are artificial methods and the remaining 9 questions are regarding Natural methods. In dealing with the level of knowledge of the selected respondents, the researchers used a quiz type questionnaire. which gave them the choices of A, B or C answer. This research study used the two-tailed test as the main statistical treatment. The result on Artificial Method ranged from 9-11 which was interpreted as High Level of Knowledge, 5-8 as Moderate Level of Knowledge and 1-4 as Low Level Knowledge while on Natural Method ranged from 7-9 which was interpreted as High Level of Knowledge, 4-6 as Moderate Level of Knowledge and 1-3 as Low Level of Knowledge. According to the study that was conducted, these conclusions were drawn: With the given values that were calculated therefore, the respondents have an average level of knowledge in both natural and artificial methods of contraception as shown in the mean values of 5.1 and 6.3, respectively. The result of the study showed that there is no significant difference between the levels of knowledge of the respondents in contraception when grouped according to age as shown in the F value of 0.8510 which is less than the critical value. There is no significant difference between the level of knowledge of the respondents in contraception when grouped according to gender as shown in the z calculated value of 1.004 which is less than the critical value of 1.96. It also showed that there is no significant difference between the level of knowledge of the respondents in contraception when grouped according to year level as shown in the F value of 0.7809 which is less than the critical value while there is a significant difference between the level of knowledge of the respondents in contraception when grouped according to their Course as shown in the z calculated value of 3.014 which is greater than the critical value of 1.96. Based on the outcome of this study, the following recommendations had been made. First the Olivarez College Administration should include sex education in the curriculum of the Non- Nursing Courses to increase their knowledge on contraception; Second, there should be some seminars conducted by the CHRS department that will increase their awareness on contraceptive methods; Third, the Administration should collaborate with the Department of Health in distributing condoms in the campus and lastly, the professors and students must go hand in hand in the process.
