Summary, etc. A satisfied high school teacher, generally could be flexible. He would be a better adjusted individual who came from a superior family environment and would have the capacity to overcome the effects of an inferior environment. He could be realistic about his situation and about his goals. High School teachers were the frontliners in a secondary educational institution. They ruled within the confines of their classrooms. Students would easily detect if they were not satisfied with what they were doing. In the first place, it was generally noted that high school student spent more time in school than at home. One maladjusted teacher out of a hundred is one too many. Considering that in a year, this teacher will have an intimate contact with twenty or thirty impressionable youngters, all of whom are developing their attitudes towards value, then one such teacher anywhere is too many. (Bernard) High School student required teachers who could do their job well. They must function creditably as symbols of authority. It is imperative, therefore, to study the job satisfaction of high school teachers of Southeastern College. How well they performed their tasks could be gauged by their job satisfaction.
