| Summary, etc. | This study examined the capacities and possibilities of retiring and retired government employees in Paranaque City as entrepreneurs who will contribute to the region's economic growth and development. It utilized quantitative descriptive correlation method using survey questionnaire among 120 respondents. Freqiency and percentage, weighted mean, standard deviation, Pearson r correlation, T-test, and multiple regression analysis were the statistical tools utilized for the treatment of data. Results showed that retiring and retired government employees look forward to the successful senior entrepreneurship idea on personal finance and organizational performance as they believed on their capability in it. However, technical, political, social and family support system are essential in realizing such venture. There found no significant difference in their perceptions even when based on their socio-demographics. At some point, there is a significant association between the extent of support systems to them and their seniorpreneurship capabilities along human capital, social capital, career capital, financial capability, managerial competencies, personal motivation, and health conditions. However, business risk is anticipated to be at risk. A model of senior entrepreneurship was designed in a new perspective and Filipino cultural context, named "Pinoy Seniorpreneurship" as output of this study. |
