Summary, etc. This descriptive study aimed to provide information regarding the knowledge and practices of staff nurses on nosocomial infections in the hospitals. Specifically, this study aimed to answer three questions, namely: What is the level of knowledge and awareness of staff nurses on nosocomial infection? What are the practices of staff nurses on nosocomial infection prevention? And is there a relationship between the knowledge and practices of staff nurses on nosocomial infection? Imogene King's "General Systems Framework" served as the theoretical framework utilized in this study. The respondents were randomly selected and questionnaires were provided as to gain information.
