Summary, etc. The main purpose of this study was to find the Perception of the People on environmental Sanitation and Socio Economic Status of the family to the incidence of morbidity. There were one hundred Village and Slummed area- respondents selected randomly. The questionnaire was the main instrument used in this study. The evaluation instrument for Environmental Sanitation used four criteria: Kalinisan ng Kapaligiran, Pagpasok ng sariwang hangin, Liwanag ng Bahay at Ingay ng Paligid. Each of the criteria has five items questions. For the evaluation instrument used for Socio Economic condition of the family, the criteria used are the "Kalagayan ng Buwanang Kita ng Pamilya". There were 8 items questions if they can provide the basic needs of the family, specifically, the health,education, foods and shelter. The profile of the respondents such as age, gender, education and income was taken into account, to determine their level of thinking and priorities regarding the importance of environmental Sanitation of Socio-Economic conditions to the incidence of morbidity. The data gathered in the study were treated statistically using the Likert method of Summary Ratings, Weighted Means Percentage distribution and T- test of significance difference between two means. The study revealed the following findings: 1. The demographic data of the two groups of respondents in terms of gender show that the females are higher in number, which got 68 out of 100 respondents. 2. The perception of village-respondents as to sanitation of the environment were as follows: The result on the Kalinisan ng Kapaligaran respondents answered three "palagi" out of five (5) items, one (1) "madalas" and one (1) "minsan". On the criteria of sariwang hangin, they responded three (3) "palagi" on the five (5) item questions. While the criteria of "liwanag the respondents answered four (4) madalas" out of five (5) item questions However on the criteria of "ingay" they answered three (3) "hindi" out of five (5) items question and two (2) "bihira" in the five (5) item questions. The perceptions of the poverty stricken area-respondents as to sanitation of the environment were as follows: The results on Kalinisan ng Kapaligiran" shows that the poverty stricken area-respondents answered 4 "Madalas" out of 5 question and one (1) "Minsan" On the criteria of "Pagpasok ng Sariwang Hangin" they have responded 4 "Miadalas" at out of 5 item test questions and 1 "Minsan". However on the criteria of "Liwanag they have answered all "Madalas" out of 5 questions and in the criteria of "Ingay", 4 "Minsan" out of 5 items they have answered and 1 "Bihira". 3. The Status of the family's income of the two Village-respondents as to "Kalagayan ng Buwanang Kita ng Pamilya" they got four (4) "Palagi" out of the eight (8) items questions and two (2) 'Madalas one (1) "minsan" one (1) "Bihira". While the Slummed area-respondents answered Madalas" of all the 8 items questions in "Kalagayan ng Buwanang Kita ng Pamilya". 4. The top Five (5) most prevalent diseases in the Village were as follows ranking highest to lowest: These are Influenza twenty four (24) out of fifty (50) per family, Hypertension twenty (20) out of fifty (50), Diarrhea fifteen (15) out of fifty (50), Diseases of the Heart eight (8) out of fifty (50) and Pneumonia four (4) out of fifty (50). While the top most prevalent diseases in Poverty stricken were: Diarrhea twenty three (23) out of fifty (50) per family. Pneumonia twenty one (21) out of fifty (50) per family, Influenza nineteen (19) out of fifty (50), Bronchitis thirteen (13) out of fifty (50) and Hypertension seven (7) out of fifty (50). 5. The t-test values of significant difference of Environmental Sanitation of the two group's respondents showed that there was no significant difference in the perception of the two groups of respondents in the three criteria. However, the last criteria was perceived by the two groups of respondents as significantly different based on the higher results of t-test compared to the critical value of 2.0, df of 99 and 0.05 level of significance. 6. The t-test values of significant difference of Socio Economic Status of family of the two groups of respondents showed that there was significant difference as regards to the perceptions of the family's income.
