Summary, etc. Education is the foundation of all successful societies but is now at the brink of crisis due to the pandemic. The Philippines as one of the developing countries compassionately pursue the continuity of education among the learners in urban and rural areas. This study aims to assess public schools' risk management and readiness in the post-pandemic as a result of their experiences during COVID - 19 with an end - view of crafting risk management plans for the pandemic. The study utilized a descriptive quantitative approach with an online survey and statistical instruments to determine the significant difference in the level of preparedness and risk management solutions implemented by public schools during the time of pandemic and foreseen challenges in the post-pandemic. Results showed that the level of preparedness in terms of instructional delivery, learning materials/ resources, administration and supervision, community partnership, and students' services in the small school as perceived by the teachers was "very much prepared" while in other schools as "moderately prepared". In some indicators, a certain group of respondents identified the upcoming challenges as very serious". To address the pressing challenges in the Philippines learning delivery, the respondents agreed to come up with a strategic plan that would ensure the continuity of learning.
