| Summary, etc. | Lifestyle is a very important concept in attaining a quality of life of an individual who is considered hypertensive. Lifestyle is all about the act of an individual on their everyday life or a person's way of life. Suppresses all things that either good or bad which reflects how caring behavior affects their life. On the other hand, this quality of life has the role on how a person values his life in accordance with health, through maintaining a homeostasis inside and outside of a person's body. Both has an interchanging action that is necessary to prevent and treat occurrence of hypertension. This study is concerned primarily to the respondent's perception of prospective changes in lifestyle and quality of life, and evaluates the ability of those hypertensive soldiers in making a wise change in life to prevent and the resolve their health problems. Researchers aimed to answer the demographic profile of hypertensive soldiers as regard to their age, civil status and educational attainment. The research design, respondents, instrumentation and samplin technique used in gathering treatment and scoring of data presented on methodology part. It is concerned with the presentation of the method and procedures used in gathering, consolidating and statistically quantifying, the information that serves as a basis for the establishment of the trend of reaction to the subject being discussed. Descriptive-correlational and a survey questionnaire were used to differentiate and determine prospective change in lifestyle and quality of life among hypertensive soldiers. Survey questionnaire was used to gather data. In order to solve the statement of the problema, researchers used various statistical tools as to analyze and to interpret the result gathered. Frequency and percentage weighted mean, and pearson-1 were used for the computation of gathered data. The gathered data were computed in order to answer the problems presented. The finding revealed that the respondent's perception for the prospective change in lifestyle and quality of life among hypertensive soldiers correlates, where the computed pearson- r value is 17.00. Findings revealed that there were no correlation between prospective change in lifestyle and quality of life among hypertensive soldiers in Villamor Airbuse, Pasay City. Based on the findings it can be concluded that the null hypothesis of "there is no significant relationship between prospective change in meyle and quality of life among hypertensive soldiers in Villamor Airbase, Pasay City was accepted. As reflected from the findings the researchers presented recommendations to more improve lifestyle and quality of life of the respondents Hypertensive soldiers are encouraged to be more initiative in looking for ways so as for them to be more knowledgeable in developing their prospective changes in lifestyle in attaining quality of life. The findings indicated that the hypertensive male soldier's quality of life reflected with negative feedback. Meant that they needed to have a motivation to change their lifestyle in attaining the desire of having a quality of life. Attending programs, activities about prevention of this known condition were very helpful for them, because through these they would become more knowledgeable in becoming healthy individuals. Thus where other researchers are also encouraged to have more studies regarding the changes in lifestyle and attaining quality of life among hypertensive soldiers because this could be very helpful to preventing and treating occurrence of hypertension. |
