Dissertation note: Master Thesis Summary: This study was aimed at analyzing and assessing the Red and Green Channel System implemented by Bureau of Customs at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport as perceived by the two groups of respondents that would serve as input in the position paper to be drafted intended hereto as a means of intervention mechanism in the entry point at the airport. Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions: 1. What is the essence of the Red and Green Channel System implementation as viewed by the Bureau of Customs Officers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport? You sent 2. How efficient is the said system as perceived by the two groups of respondents along five major areas: 2.1 Policy, 2.2 Operation; 2.3 Equipment, 2.4 Security; and 2.5 Personnel and Staff? 3. What are the perceived advantages and disadvantages of the said new system implemented by the Bureau of Customs at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport? 4. Is there significant difference in the assessment of the two groups of respondents on the efficiency of the said system implementation and their perceived advantages and disadvantages? 5. Based on the findings of this study, what position paper towards government initiative for intervention mechanism that can be drafted and transacted upon with the concerned authority?
