Master Thesis
The study dealt with the assessment of the level of effectiveness of Special Basic Citizen Military Training as a basis for a proposed action plan. Its goal is to generate relevant and accurate baseline information about the training institution drawn from the selected respondents themselves. These can be considered for integration in the preparation of a strategic training development plan along with Force management, procurement, and organization in the areas encompassing the National Capital Region. The researcher used mixed methods utilizing quantitative methods of research and resorting to the numerical analysis of data collected through questionnaires and surveys. More so, it focuses on gathering numerical data and generalizing it across groups of individuals or elucidating a specific phenomenon and produces objective data which will be communicated through statistics and numbers. This is often appropriate to describe the policies on business permit issuance to personal companies. Results showed that the majority of the respondents are 25 years old age, dominated by males and college graduate holders. More so, the level of effectiveness of the National Capital Region Community Defense Group Special Basic Citizen Military Training was interpreted as effected. Consequently, the assessments of two groups of respondents are significant in all indicators. Furthermore, the respondents encountered five problems and proposed measures to address the problems. Through this, the proposed action plan along with Manpower Complement, Program of Instructions, Training Facilities, and Logistical Support provides managerial support and strategies for conducting training and development in National Capital Region.
