This study aimed to provide a representation of the lived experiences of working single parents with grade school children in post-pandemic. These experiences can include challenges that call for different coping strategies and/or mechanisms, as well as the different factors that influence resilience among working single parents during the post-pandemic. For this study, the researcher employed the Phenomenological approach and used Thematic Analysis for the collected data. Purposive sampling method was also followed where the researcher reached out to individuals who meet the requirements as a participant. A total of 10 participants were asked to answer an online demographic profile questionnaire and were then subsequently interviewed through virtual online meeting platforms and/or in-person. The participants of this study are working single parents, residing in Parañaque City, who have a child or children currently attending grade school. This research is conducted to examine the participants' lived experiences during the post-pandemic, primarily focusing on the challenges, coping strategies, and/or mechanisms the participants have practiced and the factors that influence resilience among themselves. According to the findings of this study, practically all participants stated how raising their children alone was difficult, and that they are grateful for the assistance offered by their relatives. The study also implied that the participants were able to utilize coping techniques and/or mechanisms to help them improve their well-being or simply ensure their productivity at work and at home. The results of the data collection method were presented in tabular form, were evaluated, and were carefully analyzed using the cited and mentioned studies from the evaluation of related literature. Several sections of the community which includes the parents and their children, as well as guidance counselors, and similar professionals will highly benefit from the information provided by the participants. Furthermore, the gathered data can be used as foundations and bases for future social work approaches and guidance and counseling programs.
