Master Thesis
This study assessed the level of the implementation of Robinsons Bank's corporate social responsibility in Cagayan De Oro City to serve as the basis for policy redirection. The output of the study aims to support the successful and productive implementation of Robinsons Bank's corporate social responsibility in terms of Awareness of corporate social responsibility, caring for the environment, engaging in philanthropic endeavors, educational assistance, and giving scholarships. To capture data, produce information, and achieve its purposes, the researcher utilized the quantitative descriptive method through a self-assessment survey disseminated to a total of 100 respondents consisting of 40 students scholars, and 60 Local Government Unit of Cagayan De Oro City. Results showed that the majority of the respondents are classified as the younger generation. Robinsons Bank implemented corporate social responsibility in terms of awareness of corporate social responsibility, adapting humane employee practices, caring for the environment, engaging philanthropic endeavors and educational assistance - giving scholarships. The respondents encountered serious challenges in implementing corporate social responsibility and had very high recommendations on the measures proposed to address the challenges of the respondents. Through this, a proposed program is provided about corporate social responsibility towards good and successful corporate governance and improved business activities concerning community, environment, and employees productivity and development. This study contributes to the policy redirection of Robinsons Bank's corporate social responsibility in Cagayan De Oro City.
