The accounting industry currently presents one of the most challenging career hurdles. When managing the records of a country's business activities, a sufficient number of qualified accountants must be present (Ghani & Muhammad, 2019). In order to improve the caliber of accountants, accounting students must be prepared to plan and organize their career paths. Internship experience is one of the elements that motivates accounting students in pursuing their future careers as professional accountants. Data were gathered using a 24-item validated survey questionnaire. 15 items on the respondents' internship experience assessment and 9 items on challenges encountered during the internship were analyzed and presented using weighted mean. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to find out if there is a significant difference on internship experience assessment of respondents and challenges encountered when grouped according to profile. Pearson R was utilized to determine if there is a significant relationship between respondents' assessment of internship experience and challenges encountered during the internship program. From the information gathered, the study revealed that the respondents' assessment of internship experience were adequate enough to shape their career paths and strengthen their career aspirations. Additionally, it ascertained the conclusions that there is a significant difference in the respondents' internship experience assessment and challenges encountered when grouped according to their profile, and that there is a significant relationship between the respondents' internship experience assessment and challenges encountered during the internship training process. Results suggested that the institution, through the Accountancy department, should disseminate employer expectations to students and examine further the relevance of practical approaches to students' career paths. This is to enhance the system of internship programs in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
