This study attempted to find out the most effective and comprehensive program for the College Students of Olivarez to quit or reduce drinking alcohol intake. This study was conducted during the first semester, School year 2012-2013. Specially, it answered the following sub problem: What is the demographic profile of selected College Students of Olivarez College in Paranaque City for school year 2012-2013? What are the factors that influence selected College Students of Olivarez College in Paranaque City for school year 2012-2013 to drink alcohol? What are the factors that influence selected College Students of Olivarez College to reduce or quit alcohol intake? Is there a relationship between the demographic profile of selected College Students and the factors that influence them to drink alcohol? Findings Based on the researchers gathered these are the following findings of the study: Based on the age the selected 50 respondents who answer the questions were within the age of 15 years old about 2% came from the range of 17 years old is 8% came from the range of 18 years old is 18% came from the range of 21 is 8% came from the range of 24 years old is 4% came from the range of 25 years old is 2% as well as the range of 26 years old got 2% a range of 29 years old got 4% lastly, the range of 36 years old got 2%. The study is female dominated with the total percentage of 54%. From the result of the Family income per month, the selected 50 respondents who answered the questions were within the range of Php. 10,000/month 6%, Php. 15,000/month 14%, Php. 20,000/month 16%, Php. 30,000/month 22%, Php. 40,000/month 6%, Php. 45,000/month 2%, Php. 50,000/month 14%, Php. 60,000/month 2%, Php. 80,000/month 14%, Php. 100,000/month 2%, Php. 300,000/month 2%. The result of income allowance per day the selected 50 respondents who answered the question were within the range of Php. 70.00/day 2%, Php. 100.00/day 40%, Php. 150.00/day 10%, Php. 200.00/day 26%, Php. 250.00/day 10%, Php. 300.00/day 6%, Php. 350.00/day 4%, Php. 500.00/day 2%. The study manifest that most of the selected respondents are nursing student. The respondent had different views on the factors that influence them to drink alcohol, but the highest influencing factor was socialization under the Personal influencing factor was socialization under the Personal influence Category with weighted mean of 1.66 interpreted as agree. The second highest is the socialization with members of the community under the community influence category with weighted mean of 1.84 interpreted as agree. The lowest is acceptance in the family under the Family Influence categories with a weighted mean of 2.28 as interpreted as agree. The respondents had different perception on the factors that influence them to reduce or quit alcohol intake, the highest is self help program with the percentage of 44% next is reduce daily/weekly consumption gradually/cut back with the percentage of 18%, followed by group stop drinking or alcohol program with a percentage of 12%, next is switching to light or mild alcohol beverages with a percentage of 8%, next is guidance counseling with a percentage of 6%, lastly, is addiction counseling with a percentage of 2%. According to the gathered data in terms of Personal factors there is no relationship among age, gender, and religion, family income per month and allowance per day as well as the course. In terms of Community factors, there is a relationship among age, gender, family income and allowance except for the religion and the course. In terms of family factors there is no relationship among age, gender, and religion, family income per month and allowance per day as well as the course.
