Summary: This study explores the role of the LRT 1 extension in enhancing urban tourism in Paranaque City and serves as the foundation for developing a traveler{92}s guidebook. As infrastructure plays a crucial role in shaping tourist behavior and accessibility, the research aims to evaluate how the LRT-1 extension impacts travel patterns, local attraction, and consolidation, to determine the guidebook{92}s effectiveness in promoting tourism. A quantitative descriptive research design was employed, with data gathered through surveys from 385 respondents, primarily young adult students, commuters, and tourists using the LRT-1 extension. Findings revealed that the guidebook was perceived as highly impactful across all TALC phases, improving travel planning, accessibility, confidence, and engagement with local businesses and attraction. Notably, the study found no significant differences in perceptions across most demographic groups, except for Age in development phase, suggesting broad, inclusive benefits of the infrastructure and the guidebook. The study concludes that the LRT-1 extension significantly contributes to tourism development in Paranque by improving connectivity and promoting economic opportunities. The resulting guidebook is recommended to enhance the tourist experience and foster sustainable urban tourism. These findings have practical implications for academic institutions, tourism businesses, local and national governments, and future researchers aiming to explore infrastructure driven tourism growth.
