Master Thesis
The researcher, who is part of the Philippine Army organization for halfa decade, and currently designated as Intel Platoon leader, Personnel Officer and GAD officer of 19th Infantry Battalion, 8th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, strongly commends as she believes that there is a need for reassessment on effectiveness of Community Support Program (CSP) in the areas of Northern Samar. Hence,this present study was comprehended with a goal of determining the level of effectiveness of CSP implementation specifically to the sixteen (16) barangays of Silvino Lubos in support to the National thrust to end the local communist armed conflict in conformity with the specifications of EO 70. Likewise, it aimed to propose an action plan as an output of the study to address the problems encountered on the implementation of CSP which she believes could greatly contribute for the welfare and development of the residents of Northern Samar. It utilized quantitative method using questionnaires among the two groups of respondents which aims at describing the status of an identified variable and is designed to provide systematic information about a phenomenon.352 respondents from BTF-ELCAC composed of Barangay Chairperson, Barangay Councilors, and Barangay Tanods and 48 respondents from MTF-ELCAC group composed of Municipal Mayor, MLGOO, PNP and Philippine Army personnel all residing and assigned in Northern Samar specifically at the Municipality of Silvino Lubos. In deciding on the sample size for this quantitative enquiry.
