This study as all about the "Level of Awareness of Breast Self- Examination among women ages 20-40 in Purok 8, Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City. Specifically this study sought to answer the following data was then gathered, which is presented in a tabular form. Table (1.1) presents the frequency and percentage distribution of the respondents according to their age. Table (1.2) presents frequency and percentage distribution of the respondents according to civil status. Table (1.3) presents frequency and percentage distribution of the respondents according to educational attainment. Table (1.4) presents frequency and percentage distribution of the respondents according to frequency of health consultation. Table (2.1) shows the mean distribution of the respondents' level of awareness in breast self-examination as to its importance. Table (2.2) shows the mean distribution of the respondent's level of awareness in breast self-examination as to technique. Table (2.3) shows the mean distribution of the respondent's level of awareness in breast self-examination as to possible result and techniques. Table (2.4) shows the summary of Mena distribution of The Level of Awareness in terms of Importance, Technique and Possible results and benefits the Table (3.1) shows the significant difference in the awareness on Breast Self-Examination of the respondents when grouped according to age. Table (3.2) shows the significant difference in the awareness on Breast Self-Examination of the respondents when grouped according to civil status. Table (3.3) shows the significant difference in the awareness on Breast Self-Examination of the respondents when grouped according educational attainment. The research will attempt to assess the level of awareness on breast self-examination among women in Purok 8, Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City. The study is focus to answer the following questions: (1.) what is the profile of the respondents in terms of: (1.1) Age, (1.2) Civil Status, (1.3) Educational Attainment and (1.4) Frequency of Health Consultation. (2) What is the Awareness on breast self-examination of women in Brgy. San Dionisio, Parañaque City regarding Breast Self- Examination in terms of: (2.1) Importance, (2.2) Technique and (2.3) Possible result and Benefits. (3) Is there any significant differences on the awareness in breast self examination when they are group according to age, civil status and educational attainment. A typical purposive sampling method of research was utilized. The research instrument that will be used is a survey questionnaire in order to accumulate data's from the respondents needed in the study. It was simple, efficient and rapid and inexpensive method of obtaining information from scattered respondents, which pertains to the awareness of breast self-examination in the early detection of breast cancer. For the validation of the instruments, the researchers used the questionnaire that was reviewed and approved by the expert and adviser. There were 100 respondents participated in this study.
