Undergraduate Thesis
The study sought to contribute on the disease prevention and to lessen the number of TB cases in Bacoor City; and to determine the effectiveness of face to face education in improving the adherence on the management and preventive behavior on Tuberculosis and also to explore the preventive behavior within the household and the Cullion Foundation that the health center provides to the community residence. The study was made in the school year 2013-2014 with works which began in December 2012. The actual interviews were conducted during the month of May 2013. Specifically, the study answered the following sub-problems: What is the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of Age Gender Educational attainment Type of work Proximity of house to the nearest health clinic What is the awareness of the family towards tuberculosis in terms of: Its communicability Its modes of transmission Its symptoms Its cure What are the preventive behaviors among family members with tuberculosis?
