Master Thesis
For a long time, most people did not realize how important physical fitness is. Today, however, we know that staying physically fit does not only make life more enjoyable but also help us live longer. That is why millions of people today participate in work-outs, jogging and other strenuous exercises. The need for exercise and an active lifestyle has never been more urgent than in these times of modern technology. Labor and time saving devices succeeded in lightening the physical tasks and shortening the time spent to do daily chores. This gives man more time to spend leisure activities. Unfortunately, the activities indulged by man are largely sedentary in nature. Exercise and strenuous activities for the human body are now becoming less a part of the typical lifestyle of every Filipino. As a result, cardio-vascular diseases claim many lives every year. Such diseases can be minimized and prevented by developing healthy lifesyle patterns early in life.
