Upon observation of the processes in the scholarship office of Olivarez College Paranaque, manual processing is very evident in most transactions running at the said office. As we noticed, the head of the scholarship office utilizes a conventional method in dealing with their scholarship program. So, we technically assumed that the administrator of the office finds difficulties in managing the scholarship program. Also, in the customary record keeping, application structures, and different necessities for the grant can be lost. Due to these difficulties, we as a group decided to develop a web-based system that will help the future scholars and applicants for the scholarship program offered by Olivarez College and it was entitled "Olivarez College Online Scholarship Management System." Our main objective for this study is to design and develop a system that has a user-friendly interface and can captivate the interest of a lot and at the same time, it will effectively enhance the process of applications and management of the scholars in Olivarez College Scholarship Office. After we develop this system, we will conduct testing and hand out some surveys and questionnaires to the existing scholars to confirm if the developed system has met the needs and expectations of the client and users. This method lies in the quantitative method, as we conduct a survey to gain more pieces of information of what to apply and add to enhance the development of the system.
