The study is about Mental Health State of NCM 102 BSN Students of Olivarez College. The researcher come up with this title because they wanted to find out how stressful to become a Nursing student. They would like to measure the level of depression, anxiety, anger, happiness and Self-esteem of a student. The researcher tried to define each tool for the readers or future researchers, so that they would be able to understand the study and why the researcher choose this title. The researcher come up with the following questions related to the study and they are as follows: What are the profiles of the respondents according to? Age, Civil Status, Gender, and Number of units enrolled in this semester. What is the level of Anxiety, Anger and Depression of 3 year NCM 102 BSN students of Olivarez College?, What is the level of Happiness and Self esteem of 3 year NCM 102 BSN students of Olivarez College?, Is there a relationship between the demographic profile of 34 year NCM 102 BSN students of Olivarez College to the level of anxiety, depression, and anger ?, and Is there a relationship between the demographic profile of 34 year NCM 102 BSN students of Olivarez College to the level of Happiness and Self-esteem? The study used Quantitative- Correlation research. Descriptive research or statistical research provides data about the population or universe being studied. But it can only described the "who, what, when, where and how" of a situation, not what caused it. Therefore, descriptive research is used when the objective is to provide a systematic description that is as factual and accurate as possible. The researcher was able to get the history of the school which is Olivarez College, who owns it and who composes the school. The researcher utilizes questionnaire about depression, anxiety, anger, happiness and self-esteem and they tried to rumble it so that our respondents would not know what type of questions they are answering. The study utilized the Slovin's formula to be able to get the sample size from the total population that will represent the study. But before doing that the researcher get how many sections do 3rd year has and how many students composes each section. To analyze and interpret the result of the given data the researcher uses frequency and distribution. Frequency Distribution is utilized in the distribution of the respondents and to tally the frequency of the level of anxiety, anger, depression and level of happiness and self-esteem followed by the weighted mean which is the mean collection of scores that have been assigned different degrees of importance. Pearson r is used to measure the correlation of the demographic profile and level of anxiety, angry and depression. Same as to the correlation of the demographic profile to the level of happiness and self-esteem of 3rd year BSN NCM 102 student of Olivarez College. On the demographic profiles of the 3 year BSN students of Olivarez College that are taking-up NCM 102, there are one hundred forty seven (147) respondents' ages 18-22 years old, thirty four (34) respondents ages 23-27 years old, eleven (11) respondents ages 28-32 years old and seven (7) respondents ages 33 years old in the study. Majority of the respondents are composed of female which has 115, and 84 male students, 171 single, 28 were married etc... 154 respondents experienced moderate anxiety, mild to moderate depression and can possibly get angry towards different situations, twenty eight (28) respondents experienced severe anxiety, severe depression and easily get angry towards different situations and lastly seventeen (17) respondents are not anxious at all, no depression likely and do not get angry towards bad situations in life. One hundred forty two (142) respondents in the study that have enough self-esteem and somewhat happy in their life, forty eight (48) respondents reveal in the study that there are very happy in their life and have high- level self-esteem and nine (9) respondents shows that they are very unhappy with their life and they have very low self-esteem. The respondents starts in age 18-22 and most of them are female, young adult and single. The result of the study shows that most of the respondents experienced moderate anxiety, depression and anger. And also revealed that most of the students have enough self-esteem and somewhat happy with their life. There is a great extent relationship between the demographic profile of the respondents and the level of anxiety, anger and depression and even their happiness and self-esteem. The researchers recommend to students different relaxation techniques like deep breathing exercises, yoga or meditation as part of their activities to lessen the stressful days of being a nursing student, and that they can prioritized of aiming high grades. The study also recommend to school administrators to have programs that can make busy schedule of students but not so stressful, it is by giving some time for the students to diver.
