    <subfield code="a">This study identified and analyzed the strategies employed by parents in mentoring and monitoring their children who are enrolled in either modular or online distance learning in selected schools at Tagaytay District. The respondents of the study were 389 parents of the junior high school learners from the selected schools. The researcher used Explanatory Sequential Mixed Method Design in order to fully grasp the situation of the parents who took the roles of home facilitators under the implementation of different learning modalities. Data were gathered in two ways. The researcher distributed 22 item modified adapted questionnaires and statistical treatment were employed. The statistical findings were verified group discussions. The results showed that: through the conduct of focus (1) majority of the parents' academic attainment is college level. The number of their children enrolled for this school year is 3 and 33.7 percent of the respondents were unemployed. (2) The mentoring styles of parents for synchronous and asynchronous learning modality mainly focus on: constant reminder, encouragement, giving praises for good academic You sent performance and maintaining clear rules at home and study time. (3) Majority of the learners got satisfactory rating ranging 80 to 84. (4) There is no significant difference in employed parental mentoring and monitoring of parents to learners enrolled in different year level. (5) There is no correlation among parental mentoring and monitoring style, academic performance, year level, educational attainment, number of learners enrolled and occupation of the parents.</subfield>
