Describes the popularity of beer among beverages, its ingredients and production process. It also describes the many benefits derived from moderate drinking of beer as well as its adverse effects. Enumerates the positive effects of moderate beer drinking (1-2 bottles per day) which include decrease in cardiovascular disease risk, lowering of bad cholesterol, as a good source of the B vitamins, an aid in cancer prevention because of its xanthohumol content, aid in reduction of kidney stones, memory booster, and relaxant Describes the beer industry in general and average beerconsumption per country. Also, describes the local beer industry and the beer drinking pattern among Filipinos. Provides comparative study between moderate drinking versus heavy drinking and its cause and effect among the population through a verifiable research methodology. Concludes that moderate beer consumption is beneficial to one's health while excessive drinking of beer cause numerous health problems to include liver disease.
