    <subfield code="a">This study assessed the hygienic practices and sanitation standards implemented in eateries around Olivarez College. This study has been motivated by the realization that not all the eateries around the said vicinity are clean and safe. Thus, the study used the descriptive survey method This method involved the collection of data to answer questions concerning the current status of the subject of the study. Relative to the research, it was utilized because it is the most appropriate with regards to the purpose of the researchers. For the data for this quantitative-descriptive study, the researchers looked for 35 food handlers around Olivarez College and asked them to answer the questionnaires. After collecting the fully-accomplished forms from the respondents, the researchers tallied and coded the responses of the respondents using Microsoft Excel. The raw data were analyzed with SPSS software. The study resulted in these major findings that the overall mean of the level of compliance of the said eateries on sanitation standards as perceived by the respondents is less complied. On the other hand, the overall mean of the hygienic practices of the respondents in food handling is less acquired. Thus, there should be an immediate response to do for the enhancement of the eateries around Olivarez College, Para&#xF1;aque City. Thus, the results pointed out the need for improvement for the eateries.</subfield>
