  <abstract>The study dealt with the assessment of the perception of business permit issuance to private companies by selected cities in Laguna (Calamba, Cabuyao, and Santa Rosa City Laguna). Its goal is to generate relevant and accurate baseline information on the process and procedures of business permit issuance to private companies for possible considerations of the Local Government Unit and institutions drawn from the selected respondents themselves. The researcher used mixed methods utilizing quali-quantitative methods of research resorting to the numerical analysis of data collected through questionnaires and surveys. More so, it focuses on gathering numerical data and generalizing it across groups of individuals or elucidating a specific phenomenon and produces objective data which will be communicated through statistics and numbers. This is often appropriate to describe the policies on business permit issuance to personal companies. Results showed that the majority of the respondents are the group 36 to 40 years old, dominated by females and college graduate holders. More so, the perception of the business permit issuance to private companies by selected cities in the province of Laguna rated Aware along in Policy Awareness, Requirements, Process, and Permit Fees. Consequently, the assessments of two groups of respondents are not significant in all indicators. Furthermore, the respondents encountered four problems and proposed measures to address the problems. Through this, proposed unified policies along policy Awareness, requirements, process, and permit fees that entails fast tract services along procedures, processing time, and persons involved that would meaningfully clarify and provide quality services for all.</abstract>
