The COVID-19 pandemic affects the education sector all over the world as distance learning and teaching are mandatorily implemented worldwide. It made a huge transition from the chalk-and-talk method to technology-operated online teaching and learning, making students, neophyte teachers, and seasoned teachers adapt and learn to this new system in education. The focus of this study is seasoned teachers ages 50 years old and above as they are the most technologically challenged. This qualitative study aims to know the lived experience of seasoned teachers in coping with the technology demand. (10) ten participants are gathered from different levels of education within the City of Parañaque. Interviews, observations, validation of questionnaires, and themes are accomplished to give the results of the study. The themes found in the study by the researcher are 1) Lack of knowledge in terms of technology during the shift from face-to-face teaching to online teaching 2) Mental health of seasoned teachers during the shift from face-to-face teaching to online teaching 3) The advantages and disadvantages of online teaching 4) The advantages and disadvantages of face-to-face teaching and 5) Adaptation during the shift of face-to-face teaching to online teaching. Reflections from the said themes are their willingness to learn, perseverance to teach, and blended learning as the current and future of education and seasoned teachers are vital to help and guide us with their expertise and years of being an educator. With that said, the output of the study is about technology as a companion to help seasoned teachers thrive and retain in the education sector.
