<subfield code="a">Drug treatment is the way to reform a drug dependent. Despite mounting evidence that addiction is a treatable health issue, most people do not receive treatment. Involvement in the criminal justice system is frequently the result of illegal drug-seeking behavior and involvement in illegal activities, both of which reflect disrupted behavior caused by brain changes and caused by repeated drug use. Treatment of drug-addicted offenders offers a unique opportunity to reduce substance abuse and associated criminal behavior. The study was conducted to know the level of effectiveness of individualized treatment programs in selected drug rehabilitation centers in Parañaque City in redressing the drug dependent before their reintegration into mainstream society. The researchers used the input-process-output model concept to list the inputs, outputs, and steps needed to convert these inputs into outputs. The study was designed using quantitative research and it involved 50 respondents comprising of 30 former drug patients and 20 rehabilitation center personnel using a purposive sampling method. Findings show that there is no significant difference in the assessment of the two groups of respondents on the individualized treatment program in selected drug rehabilitation centers in Parañaque City in terms of facilities, and rehabilitation program. However, there is a significant difference in terms of staff/service provider, and aftercare monitoring. The level of effectiveness of individualized treatment programs in selected drug rehabilitation centers in Parañaque City in terms of facilities, rehabilitation program, staff/service providers, and aftercare monitoring are evaluated as effective. The problems encountered were observable during the implementation of the program for a long period. Patients reported that issues were handled unprofessionally by the staff. Staff also encountered a lack of resources. The rehabilitation center had difficulty coping with the problems encountered while implementing the individualized treatment program. At the end of the study, the researchers proposed an action plan that will help to improve the implementation of the individualized treatment program in drug rehabilitation centers in Parañaque City and promote correction as the fourth pillar of the Philippine criminal justice system.</subfield>
