  <abstract> The Philippines have a long history that dates back to 900 AD. It is evident from a study of Philippine history that martial arts have always been an important component of Filipino culture. People practice martial arts as a sport, a hobby, an artistic expression, or as a regular habit to improve their total physical, mental, and emotional health. To use Martial arts in their future careers, criminology students must receive the training and knowledge necessary. This study aims to assess the advantages of martial arts program for Criminology students. An online survey was distributed to all 1st-year students. The analysis demonstrated that the assessments of the respondents on the level of effectiveness of the Criminology martial arts program of Olivarez College in terms of activities conducted, facilities, and equipment conducted got highly effective. The results indicate that martial arts programs have an impact on the students. It is recommended that Martial Arts use as a key factor to having advantages in that chosen field. To determine additional factors that might enhance the effectiveness of this program.</abstract>
