This study explored the experiences of deaf employees working in the ParanÌaque City food industry. The research delved into what people have lived through and the opportunities they encounter in their work lives. It focused on communication barriers, social connection, pursuit of opportunities encouraged in their working environment, and overall workplace experiences. Through qualitative methods, the study gathered data from deaf employees, providing a firsthand perspective on their experiences. Thematic analysis was employed to identify recurring themes and better understand their realities within the food industry. Inclusive practices and supportive resources are crucial for fostering an enabling environment where deaf employees can thrive and have equal opportunities for success. The findings showcased the diverse perspectives and challenges deaf employees face in the food industry. The importance of social connection, opportunity pursuit, and inclusivity within the workplace is underscored. The study emphasized the need to combat autism and actively promote equal employment opportunities. Despite communication and accessibility barriers, the research reveals the resilience and valuable contributions of deaf individuals to the industry. Support from the deaf community plays a vital role in their professional development, providing guidance and encouragement. The research concluded by acknowledging the need for further communication strategies and training development. Additionally, it highlighted the importance of accommodating deaf individuals during the interview process and implementing inclusive practices within the workplace. These steps are crucial in creating a supportive and empowering environment for all employees, paving the way for a more equitable future within the food industry.
