    <subfield code="a">The biological process of wound healing is complex and essential for regaining tissue functioning and integrity. However, the research for efficient and relatively inexpensive wound healing agents continues despite advances in medical science. The medicinal plant Euphorbia hirta, commonly known as Tawa-tawa, is a well-known component of traditional medicine because of its purported wound healing properties. The researchers utilized 30 Sprague dawley (Albino rats) as the researcher{92}s subjects, 6 different treatments are utilized. The methodologies of the research were subjected to ethical treatment for animals. The researchers have also sought the assistance of a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine upon the execution of the research. The research made an ointment where tawa-tawa leaves with petroleum jelly are used. A Positive treatment where Bioderm{99} ointment was utilized, a Negative treatment with no product was used, T1: 30% tawa-tawa leaves extract, T2: 50% tawa-tawa leaves extract, T3: 70% tawa-tawa leaves extract and T4: 90% tawa-tawa leaves extract. The researchers used the one-way analysis variance as a statistical method to analyze the data to see the significant difference among the treatments. Additionally, to identify which groups{92} means differed from the others, the researchers used Turkey{92}s HSD (Honestly Significant Difference). The Wilcoxon Rank-Sum Test was also used to asses efficacy of the various concentrations and to asses the amount of effectiveness in each treatment. Regardless of the length of the incision self  unhealed or cured, there is no significant difference in the amount of time it takes for different treatments to heal. Additionally, there is a substantial difference in the amount of time it takes for a wound to heal in Positive treatment, Negative treatment, Treatment 1, Treatment 2, Treatment 3, and Treatment 4 of the ointment made from the leaves of Euphorbia hirta (Tawa-tawa). The research showed that wound healing process that took three to four days in the four treatments as compared to the Negative treatment, which took 6-7 days to complete. Moreover, the result of the Turkey test shows that Treatment 4 (90%) was shown to be more effective than other treatments with an average of 74.5714285 compared to Positive treatment with an average of 54.85714286 and Negative treatment with an average 4 with an average 60.66666667. The research shows that Tawa-tawa leaves has a potential wound-healing effect in Sprague dawley.</subfield>
