N2  - This study aimed to determine and investigate the level of fundamental skills of Edukalye students, specifically focusing on reading, writing, and listening skills in English. The research was conducted in two adopted communities of Olivarez College - Paranaque City, Sitio Santo Nino and San Dionisio, involving 50 participants from Grade 1-3.      The study employed a descriptive quantitative research design, utilizing purposive sampling to select participants who met specific criteria. A self-made reading materials assessment was developed and validated by four experts to assess the effectiveness of lesson plans and educational materials. The research followed a three-stage procedure: preparation, execution, and treatment.      The study found that Grade 3 students performed the best, followed by Grade 1 and Grade 2. The analysis of variance revealed a statistically significant difference in fundamental language skills between the grade levels. The study also found a positive impact of the intervention on student performance. The researchers concluded that Edukalye should implement a more comprehensive approach to developing fundamental language skills across all grade levels, building upon existing strengths and addressing potential skill gaps. They also recommended exploring teaching methods used in each grade level to identify potential factors contributing to the observed language skill variations. Finally, the researchers highlighted that the proposed Lesson Exemplar for Edukalye students in Grades 1-3 crafted by them must be utilized to enhance students{92} fundamental English skills
