N2  - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a vital tool in modern medical diagnostics, offering detailed internal images without ionizing radiation. However, individuals with anxiety disorders often find MRI experiences challenging due to feelings of confinement and noise triggers. Sedation though effective, poses financial and health concerns. Alternatives like education and communication strategies offer low-cost solutions to mitigate anxiety. A qualitative study, employing a descriptive phenomenological approach, explored the experiences of eight Radiologic Technologists managing MRI patients. Challenges encountered by Radiologic Technologists included patient anxiety and diverse behaviors. Techniques employed encompassed effective communication and personalized approaches. The significance of practical experience alongside academic education was emphasized. Despite the preference for sedation, Radiologic Technologists acknowledged its drawbacks and highlighted the importance of individualized patient care management for successful MRI procedures
