    <subfield code="a">Since the pandemic started, businesses in the Philippines is one of the affected by the life-threatening virus; after losing a large number of customers and clients, some companies declared bankruptcy and stopped production temporarily. The focus of this study is the survivability of small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The challenges mentioned above are the reason why many small businesses are forced to close shop or stop their operations. In this study, the researchers assessed how the cake shop My Sweet Life continues to survive the pandemic towards the continuity of its operations in the new normal despite all the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The researchers conduct this study to determine how My Sweet Life survive the pandemic. In this study, the researchers used qualitative research design to explain how My Sweet Life operates amidst the COVID-19 pandemic towards its survivability. The population for this study is the owner and resellers of My Sweet Life. Purposive sampling was also used to freely select the participants of this study who can provide detailed information. Transcribed information of the participants was comprehensively analyzed to establish the emergence of themes. The researchers identified the common problem that the participant encountered during the lockdown. The common problems that the participant has mentioned are the delay of orders and the scarcity of customers buying and ordering their products. Hearing the struggles of the owner and their strategies on how their business survived during the pandemic can be a great source of inspiration to those business owners or aspiring business owners to continue their aspirations and not to be discouraged because it is just a shortcoming.</subfield>
